1. Meet in public places
- Choose cafés, malls, restaurants, parks, or busy public venues for first meetings.
- Avoid isolated locations, private residences, or late-night first meetups.
- Arrange your own transport and keep control of your exit plan.
- TrustMeet does not supervise offline meetings — you are responsible for your safety.
2. Avoid sharing financial information
- Never share OTPs, UPI PINs, passwords, or banking details in chat.
- Do not send money to users you have not met and verified in person.
- TrustMeet membership is paid only through official in-app Razorpay checkout.
3. Trust your instincts
If something feels wrong — inconsistent stories, pressure to move off-platform, requests for money, or discomfort during chat — stop the conversation and use block/report tools.
4. Report suspicious behavior
Report fake profiles, scams, harassment, or unsafe conduct through profile actions or the safety center. Include clear details so moderators can act quickly.
5. Block abusive users
Blocking prevents further contact from that account. You do not need to explain yourself — your comfort and safety come first.
6. Emergency advice
If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services (India: 112) before contacting TrustMeet support. For ongoing platform safety issues, email support@trustmeet.in.
