1. Respectful behavior
Every member contributes to a safe, welcoming community. You must:
- Communicate honestly and respectfully.
- Treat others with dignity regardless of background, gender, or beliefs.
- Respect boundaries when someone is not interested.
- Use TrustMeet for genuine social discovery — not to demean or exploit others.
2. Consent-first communication
- All conversations and meetup plans must be voluntary.
- Stop messaging if someone asks you to stop or appears uncomfortable.
- Do not pressure users into calls, meetings, or sharing private information.
- Connection requests and chat unlock only after mutual acceptance — honor that process.
3. No harassment
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Threats, bullying, intimidation, or stalking.
- Repeated unwanted contact after being ignored or blocked.
- Sexual harassment or coercive behavior.
- Doxxing or sharing another person’s private information without permission.
4. Authentic profiles — no fake identities
Companions must also follow our dedicated Companion User Policy (no adult or misleading profiles; no guarantee of visitor interest).
- Use your real photos and accurate profile details.
- Do not impersonate celebrities, brands, or other users.
- Do not create multiple accounts to evade bans or manipulate discovery.
- TrustMeet may request verification for suspicious accounts.
5. No scams or fraud
- Do not solicit money, crypto, gift cards, or investment schemes.
- Do not share or request OTPs, passwords, or banking credentials.
- Do not post misleading offers or phishing links.
6. No abusive language
Hate speech, slurs, violent threats, and degrading language are not allowed in profiles, messages, or usernames. Disagreement is fine — abuse is not.
7. Safe public meetup rules
- Plan first meetings in public, well-lit places.
- Tell a trusted friend where you are going.
- Do not share home addresses on first contact.
- Leave immediately if you feel unsafe.
8. Reporting & blocking
Use in-app report and block tools for harassment, fake profiles, scams, or policy violations. Reports help our moderation team protect the community.
9. Moderation actions
TrustMeet may, at its discretion:
- Remove content or restrict profile visibility.
- Issue warnings or temporary suspensions.
- Permanently ban accounts for serious or repeated violations.
- Cooperate with law enforcement when legally required.
